Explanation
Shonar Bangla is a Bengali typeface design based on sources from The Monotype Corporation library. This font was developed by staff at Monotype Imaging. Earlier Bengali font development work by Linotype designers and engineers is acknowledged and is used with permission. The Latin portion of the typeface is based on The Monotype Corporations Times New Roman design.
